Vaughn's Is Founded
In the late 70's, Dave finally decided to take the path his father left untraveled; it was time to open a shop. It was not long before Joy was helping with the books. Dave bought a wrecker mainly as a means to move vehicles around, but he quickly found everyone from law enforcement to customers needing the use of his hook.

A history of mechanics
It started with Dave's father - Arvis. He is the one that showed David the ropes (errr...wrenches). While Arvis never opened a shop of his own, Dave tried to get his dad to start a business.
A Legacy Begins
Dave's oldest son, David Jr., shows an early interest in mechanics. It doesn't take long before there is a third generation of car experts in the bays.
